Ball Mill Lubrication and Maintenance: Key Points for Daily Operation

1. Main Bearing Lubrication
The main bearing uses a centralized oil lubrication system. During operation, maintain the oil temperature between 35 and 45°C and keep the oil pressure stable at 0.15-0.25 MPa. Check the oil level every shift and sample the oil monthly for cleanliness testing.
II. Gear Drive Maintenance
Lubricate the meshing surfaces of the gears regularly; replenish grease every 200 hours. Inspect gear teeth for wear; stop operations immediately and perform maintenance if pitting or broken teeth are detected.
3. Liner Replacement Cycle
Replace liners when wear reaches 50%-60% of the original thickness. High-manganese steel liners typically last 6-12 months, depending on ore abrasiveness and operating hours.
